Our journey began when ZeOndre was a junior at East Carolina University. As his grandfather’s health began to decline, he became curious about how groundwater could be affected by our human footprint. His curiosity led him to help develop a concept for an app that showcased a nitrogen-sensing system, designed to measure nitrogen and phosphorus runoff from farmland to protect freshwater sources.

That experience sparked an even deeper question: how can we continue to enjoy the same level of convenience without harming people or the planet?
